Ragged Edge Coffe House

The Edge was first opened in April 2001. My father (Philip), my old roommate (Shawn), my friend Dennis and I were the original owners. Along with many friends we worked on the building day and night to get it ready to be opened. We had a rough start as we really did not have any idea of how to run a business. Soon we started to get the hang of it and things started coming together. We were open just over three years when we had the fire on the last day of January 2004. We were closed for approximately 11 months to rebuild. We then reopened on the 3rd of December of that same year. Two years later we opened our first satellite location at the local YWCA.

 

With a large kitchen were better able to produce more of our own baked goods and to use many more local vendors for our ingredients. As we settled into our two locations we were geared up to then work on our third location at the Gettysburg campus of HACC. We are located in the commons area known as the HUB.

 

Come check out all three of our locations as they each have special flavor. There are nice big parking lots at the YWCA and at HACC to avoid those nasty parking meters and long lines at the downtown locale. Thanks for supporting us throughout the years and you can continue to watch us grow.
